During quarantine, being alone in my room with only my sketchbook is a huge door opener. Ive always have this vision, where i'm this sort of character, that looks cooler than i am in reality. Because i dealt with self-loathing a lot. So a little escapism for my brain is really therapeutic. So quarantine have really helped me on self reflecting in, self love, seeing another perspective about me. So in This piece i designed my character looking happier and dress more edgier, and also a little bit more clean than i am usually. And for the giant creature i am on, i was inspired by Fantasy & Mystical creatures and big wide spaces. Just because of, how i can feel the magic and the aesthetic of cool & big looking creatures in wide fields. For example, a giant dragon flying majestically through the sky, soaring between the mountains. It feels very magical and makes you want to forget reality for a while. The colour pallet i'm using is inspired by The Netflix Show 'Hilda'. The reason for that is because, i feel it really helps to show, how relaxed i am, with the spaces i am in right now. And it also helps to give that organic feel. The Whole Illustration, wants me to tell that, I am happy in the space i am in right now, and i am happy for the person, that i've grown to be. From a confused goo nobody kid, to an artist.
