The year is 2021 and it has been more than a year that the world has changed due to Covid pandemic. Daily activities abruptly shifted, as people were advised to stay at home. For better or worse, for most people, this means that the world has now shrunk into the safety of a cocoon which are called “home”.

In time of ambiguity and unpredictability, people need distractions, therefore it is not a surprise that this pandemic has led to an outpouring of hobbies. Although it may seem trivial, hobbies have capability to bring happiness and comfort to the people who embrace them.

These artworks correspond to the idea of looking the joy and beauty that coming from the hobbies, seen from a closed window. Among the list of hobbies that rising in popularity are house gardening, home baking, and workout from home. These three hobbies are highlighted for this project. With the headline “Kaleidoscopa pandemiata”, it suggests that no matter how bad the situation right now, we believe that sometime in the future, we will be able to look back to this period, and found the beauty of our self-growth, nurtured by the help of our newly found hobbies.
