Charming 8’s Virtual Vacation is a comic I created as reflection to what I and my little brother experienced. When the pandemic strikes, we cancelled a lot of events and vacation, and struggle to get entertained in home. In this comic, the main character ‘Paul’ is panicked because he had to assign his vacation activities to Miss Richards due tomorrow morning, but he felt he couldn't do it because he didn't go on vacation due to pandemic. So he asks Riri, phone artificial intelligence for help, to make a vacation journal that he has never really experienced. Paul ends up falling asleep and Robin, his dog, keeps an honest vacation journal from Paul's vacation -which he actually only scrolling through internets and playing games during the holiday. It’s a very new condition for everyone at these times. Technologies and digitals once made for youngster but now all people in the world forced to follow the flow. One day, everything will go easy with technologies, maybe we can also go virtual vacation from home!
