This creative advertising image tells a message to the girls who are abused on a constant basis but are afraid to speak out in order to get help. In my artwork, I depict a wide range of characters, from a helpless kid to a high-profile person, demonstrating that women are being abused all over the world in every class. The black and white characters in this artwork are not opening up because their mouths are shut for various reasons, while the coloured character is screaming or ready to open up and seek help. This image is created for Talian Kasih, a government agency that aims to empower women and mainstream gender to achieve equal well-being. The image is functioned to raise the alarm and open the gate. When someone touches girls without their wish, their desire, their consent, they have to make a noise and let that noise be heard! I used a strong colour contrast here with orange and monochrome colours to ensure greater readability and to draw attention to the artwork’s focal point while also adding visual appeal. In addition, I used the Rembrandt lighting effect to shoot all of the characters, which gives a mysterious feel to the scene and also contributes to the overall dramatic feel of the artwork.
