Live In Boxes
Before the pandemic, we all had all the space we needed. But after the COVID-19 outbreak and instructions moved to Zoom, we were faced with losing that valuable resource. We now have a different amount of space to work with each other. This artwork visualizes how we feel when we are in boxes or isolated without mixing and meeting others. The colors of the earth are used to signify that we are all human, who came from the ground and will die as the earth as well. The boxes on the artwork represent suffering due to the pandemic that forms a different experience by fighting the coronavirus. The coronavirus has motivated us to take on the creative challenge of finding new ways to look at space issues.
Even though we live in the boxes, we are not alone. Wherever we are in the world, from the south, north, east, west, we are human, and we learn better, even in isolated art spaces.
