TITI INDAHYANI
Titi Indahyani is an alumni of Post Graduate (Ph.D) scholarship program from the Indonesian Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education and studied at School of Design, Creative Industries, Queensland University of Technology (QUT) in Brisbane, Australia. Her research interests were related to innovation, design thinking, social entrepreneurship, ethical business practices, sustainable living and compassionate design. Her research was focus on the design development processes and design collaboration, especially in Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) business sustainability. Her expertise is including more than 25 years of experiences as a professional career in overall interior design business. Currently, she is a Head of Interior Design Program at Binus University, Jakarta.
Furthermore, she is also involved in BEKRAF (Indonesia Creative Economy Agency) as one of The Assessor Team for Indonesia Creative City/Regencies Evaluation Program and Mentor Team for Innovative and Creative through The Nusantara (Indonesian Archipelago) Collaboration program (IKKON), also, a companion team member of the Ministry of Tourism & Creative Economy’s craft sector networking ecosystem program. In the area of social activities, she focuses on the advancement of character education for children (such as talented children, marginal children and children with special needs). She has also engaged in empowering women and improving the added value of local products from MSME’s. Through the above social activities and global issues’ concerns, she is now a member of the Indonesia Global Compact Network (IGCN), which is Indonesia’s representative for the United Nation Global Compact (UNGC), a United Nations organization committed to the achievement of the 17th Principles of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
