The Propaganda Tree is an art installation that explores how visual language shapes public opinion, identity, and collective memory. Drawing inspiration from the history of social movements around the world, the work examines propaganda as a phenomenon of visual communication design capable of disseminating ideas through symbols, images, and widely recognizable media. The tree serves as a metaphor for the growth and spread of ideas, while twelve T-shirts suspended from its branches represent artifacts of social campaigns. Through this installation, visitors are invited to reflect on the power of visual imagery to raise awareness, inspire change, and leave a lasting cultural imprint that transcends time and place

A journey to embrace stoicism with photography as media

Wanci mengangkat filosofi waktu dalam budaya Sunda sebagai ruang yang menghubungkan Bihari (masa lalu), Kiwari (masa kini), dan Jaga (masa depan). Melalui visual wormhole sebagai metafora kontinuitas ruang dan waktu, karya ini memadukan budaya Sunda dengan bahasa visual budaya populer dan sains-fiksi untuk merepresentasikan bagaimana pengetahuan, bahasa, dan identitas budaya terus bergerak serta diwariskan lintas generasi. Aksara Sunda hadir sebagai simbol warisan yang melintasi dimensi waktu, dipadukan dengan elemen geometris, Cakra Rahayu Kancana, serta ikon matahari dan bulan yang merepresentasikan harmoni, siklus waktu, dan keseimbangan alam. Melalui pendekatan visual kontemporer, karya ini mengajak pemirsa memaknai waktu bukan sebagai garis linear, melainkan sebagai siklus yang terus menghubungkan masa lalu, masa kini, dan masa depan, tempat budaya, pengetahuan, dan nilai-nilai kehidupan senantiasa hidup dan berkembang melintasi zaman.

Visualizing a post-historical future ecology, the image presents a fragmented totem that unites the distorted debris of human memory with the stubborn seeds of nature. Stacked faces and fragmented vessels illustrate how a *future time ecology* will adapt and grow from the remnants of collapsed human residue, transforming each fragment into a substrate for an unpredictable biotic symbiosis. Ultimately, \"konon\" (an old tale or myth) is reimagined as an ecological lattice where future life takes root and continues to thrive from the ruins.

This work maps the learning process in Visual Communication Design through eight words — each one a stage, each one a practice. Hidden within them is a single truth: PATIENCE. Not as passive waiting, but as an ancestral knowledge — passed down through generations, embedded in the way growth happens over time. In an era that accelerates everything, patience has become a radical act. A bridge between who we are now, and the designer we are becoming. This process does not end at Revision. It spirals back, deeper each time. What holds it together is always the same thing.

The certainty is uncertainty. True. Everything changed by the time. People, nature, the trend. But, there are things that become the root, something to keep. It is called - the norm. This artwork represents one of the norms - the highest value of being a human. Listening. As human grow, the world is getting noisy. People speak, and at-the same-time, they are likely to be heard. Maybe, they just forget of playing Tin Can - String phone, where there has to be one person speaking and one person focus on listening. We call it appreciation.

Anything I cannot transform into something marvelous, I let go. In the process of letting go, you will lose many things from the past, but you will find yourself.
