Description
The Betrayal – Animal Farm’s Last Scene
Peering through the farmhouse window, the animals of Animal Farm stand in silence. Inside, the pigs, once their comrades in the revolution, sit at a grand table, laughing and toasting with the human farmers. Both pigs and men wear only black ties, a strange symbol of their unity and shared authority.
What began as a dream of freedom has turned into a nightmare. The pigs, who once promised equality and justice, now speak, drink, and act like the very humans they overthrew. Outside, the animals watch with growing confusion and sorrow.
They look from pig to man, and from man to pig, but already it is impossible to say which is which.
The dream of equality has died and the cycle of power begins again.
