This poster design reimagines a traditional anti-propaganda pamphlet from the period of Japanese colonization in Indonesia. The original pamphlet\'s core message was to motivate young Indonesians to resist all forms of Japanese domination. The design for this reimagined poster draws inspiration from the risograph printing technique, using the red color as the symbol of bravery and blue color as the new symbol of resistance.

Barong is a panther-like creature and character in the Balinese mythology of Bali, Indonesia. He is the king of the spirits, leader of the hosts of good, mother of all spirit guarders in the mythological traditions of Bali. The figure’s mask hangs a beard of human hair decorated with frangipani flowers, in which the magic power of Barong is believed thought to reside. The figure also represents a symmetrical design which attract an equal amount of attention. This philosophy inspired me to make a symmetrical artwork referencing Barong as the main object. The colors of this artwork represent excitement and optimism which goes well with Barong\'s philosophy. Both colors and philosophy combined represents the \"power\" atmosphere.

\"Iswara Cempaka Harapan\" is a design concept for a four-star resort hotel located in Java. In Javanese, \'Iswara\' means \'the honorable,\' reflected through this artwork of the suite room\'s exclusivity within the hotel. This room is typically reserved for guests of special status, and its elevated prestige is accentuated through ornaments, cursive details inspired by Javanese script (Aksara Jawa). The word \'Cempaka\' refers to the cempaka flower, a significant element in Javanese rituals. This flower symbolizes close bonds and is often used in ceremonial settings, making it a fitting decorative motif within the suite\'s design. The design incorporates earthy browns, inspired by natural materials like wood and rattan, alongside green, representing the beauty of nature. In Javanese culture, green symbolizes hope and the continuation of life, enhancing the room’s sense of harmony and connection to the natural world.

\"Jaranan\" comes from Javanese, which means playing with horses. The traditional game Kuda Lumping or Jaran Kepang, is one of the gems of Indonesian culture that amazes with its beauty and uniqueness. Every movement and detail, from tail to head, is designed with love and craftsmanship that flows from generation to generation. When we see a Kuda Lumping, we seem to be invited into the past, into Indonesia\'s traditional cultural heritage which is rich and full of meaning.

Momotaro is a popular figure in Japanese folklore. According to the tale, he was born from a giant peach that floated down a river. An elderly couple found and raised him as their own son named Momotaro or \"Peach Boy\". As he grew, Momotaro became courageous and brave, setting off on a quest to defeat ogres terrorizing the land. He befriends a dog, a monkey, and a pheasant who join him in his mission along the way. Together, they confront the ogres. The folklore values themes of bravery, friendship, teamwork and standing up against evil.
